Career
History:
I spent close to 10 years in marketing at Minitab Inc., a statistical software company in State College,
Pennsylvania. While there, I gained a wealth of experience in marketing program management including product launch planning,
go-to-market introductions, and managing a complex marketing budget. I led a marketing communications team of six people in
developing targeted promotions by providing the overall strategic direction for the team’s initiatives and coordinating
a project management and resource allocation system to organize the work.
I was hired
as the Director of Marketing Communications by Remcom in late 2007 to create a strategic marketing program for the company.
In addition to the overall strategy, I created a brand identity, and market presence for Remcom from the ground up. The bulk
of my work at Remcom consists of the overall promotional programs surrounding our product launches, with additional focus
on the development of sales and training strategies and championing overall corporate operational excellence. My vision is
to improve the brand equity of Remcom’s products and services and to more firmly entrench Remcom’s leadership
in the market. Current initiatives include collecting market intelligence through an organized product management function
and developing rich and dynamic content to improve Remcom’s web presence and usefulness as an information source for
the EM community.
