Career History:

I was hired as the Director of Marketing Communications by Remcom in late 2007 to create a strategic marketing program for the company. In addition to the overall strategy, I created a brand identity and market presence for Remcom from the ground up. The bulk of my work at Remcom consists of planning all promotional programs surrounding our product launches, with additional focus on the development of sales and training strategies and providing guidance in regards to product management, product positioning, and the overall corporate goals and initiatives.

Highlights include my implementation of a marketing automation system and program by which we capture prospects, score them, nurture those that aren’t sales ready, and empower sales with intelligence about the leads with whom they are communicating. I also created Remcom’s first discussion forum, encouraging our engineers and developers to engage with our customers; this expanded Remcom’s credibility as a thought leader and brought attention to our expertise in the EM simulation market.

Before Remcom I worked for 10 years in marketing at Minitab Inc., a statistical software company in State College, Pennsylvania. I gained a wealth of experience in marketing program management including product launch planning, go-to-market introductions, and managing a complex marketing budget. I led a marketing communications team of six people in developing targeted promotions by providing the overall strategic direction for the team’s initiatives and coordinating a project management and resource allocation system to organize the work.
